Pending Projects:

Valley Land Fund is currently in negotiations to sell 45 acres of fertile farmland to a local farmer.  This year he is growing squash and radish.  The Sunderland parcel which runs to the Connecticut River has an agricultural preservation restriction.  Which means it will always remain in agriculture.  We look forward to transfering this parcel to  the farmer, who has been a great steward to over 200 acres in the Valley!  The picture above, taken by John Body, features the range in the background and Harvey Allen, VLF's treasurer, in the forground while the picture below is taken from the beach north on the Connectictut River.
